Blossoming Minds uses the  New York State Early Learning Guidelines  These guidelines focus on maintaining a child’s well-being, including family cultures and beliefs in learning, while addressing academic goals and practicing everyday life skills. Our teachers follow the domains and standards referred to in the guidelines. These guidelines allow educators to prepare developmentally appropriate activities and set up classrooms according to the child’s developmental needs. Teachers ensure they are taking the developmental goals of every child into account while preparing activities and lesson plans. Teachers base their activities around the five domains found in the NYS Early Learning Guidelines. Our programs are guided by a lead teacher who holds relevant credentials or is actively pursuing a college degree. Alongside our skilled teaching assistants, our team consists of caring devoted professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education. Children are separated by age groups from infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k. We acknowledge the importance of Kindergarten readiness. Our preschool programs are designed to prepare children for a seamless transition into Kindergarten.
