Blossoming Minds is dedicated to meeting every aspect of your child’s development in a warm, nurturing environment. Our carefully designed programs spark curiosity, foster engagement, and inspire growth as children progress through each stage of early learning.Our goal is to provide a foundation for lifelong learning by incorporating structured daily routines that support cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative development. With a strong emphasis on language and literacy, , and self-expression, our programs encourage little ones to grow and blossom in a safe, warm space where they can thrive.
Infant
8 Weeks - 18 Mo
Our infant program will provide a warm, welcoming environment where your baby can grow from a bundle of joy, to a bundle of curiosity. Your baby’s primary caregiver is a nurturing child development professional who is focused on creating experiences and opportunities that invite exploration and support the rapid and important development that is occurring in a child’s first year. We focus on keeping your baby happy, engaged, and secure. We will personalize care for each infant based on his/her unique schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any other special attention he/she requires. Warm and nurturing interactions with caregivers, days spent in a bright and stimulating environment for learning, individualized attention and experiences, and meaningful partnerships with parents are what we will encompass in our infant program.
Toddler
18 Months - 3 Years
Our toddler classroom offers developmentally appropriate programs to interest, involve, excite, and guide children as they go from stage to stage. Our toddler program encourages growth and development to help give children the important blocks to build a healthy foundation for life. Your little one will grow and blossom, as we, encourage growth and development by including daily routines to foster development of toddler minds and bodies.
Our warm and nurturing program focuses on language/literacy development, social/emotional development, physical development and wellness, cognitive development, and creative expression with the utmost loving care and safety in mind. Our toddler environment will be suited for active and inquisitive toddlers made up of learning centers that allow for physical activity, child choice/self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching.
Preschool
3-4 Years of Age
Our Preschool Program is designed to prepare young minds for their academic career ahead as well as allowing them to grow into their own individual and begin to understand the world around them. Your child’s preschool experience will include a safe, trusting and caring atmosphere with early childhood education professionals. Your child will experience a sense of security, success and positive self-image. They will begin to develop strong socialization skills and learn to establish positive relationships with both their peers and adults. Preschool children will be constantly active and stimulated through both learning activities and self guided play. Play based learning is the best way for children this age to begin to develop life long skills such as communication, self awareness and relationship building.
Pre-K
4-5 Years of Age
Students are introduced to mathematics, literacy, problem solving, science, hypothesizing, experimentation, art, music and writing to your little one.
They do so by keeping learning fun and engaging at an age appropriate level. Our Pre-K program focuses on Kindergarten preparedness.
Teachers in the Pre-K program are knowledgeable in the NYS kindergarten standards which allows them to prepare your child for their next step in their academic journey!
Before/After School Program
5 -12 Years of Age
We take pride in offering our school age students additional opportunities to learn. Based on parental needs, we offer your child the ability to complete any necessary homework , additional free time exploring the outdoors, games, books and much more. We cater to the Wappingers Central School District.
